"I am writing on behalf of the Commanding Officer and all those members of the Battalion (serving soldiers and family) who were lucky enough to attend the Christmas party on 20th December. We all had an excellent evening, one of the girls who has been married to a soldier for 15 years and was brought up as a child in the Battalion said it was by far the best Christmas party she had attended. The location, music, food and atmosphere were all first class but I know that many of those who attended (not just the kids) were looking forward to the fireworks as the finale and they certainly weren't disappointed you put on a fantastic show.
